Dieter Kempeneers has written a script that can help to optimize license assignment by removing licenses for Cloud PCs that are not used. It can be a great resource for Windows 365 Admins.

The script that I wrote will look at the current provisioned Cloud PCs and will remove the user from the license group if they haven’t used the Cloud PC for a specified amount of time. By default it’s set to 30 days before a license is removed, this value can be changed with the “daysSinceLastConnection” parameter.

Jon Towles has written a great post on the new cross-region disaster recovery add-on for Windows 365 Enterprise. The article explains the built-in in-zone BCDR features that are a part of Windows 365 by default and it elaborates how the newly released add-on enables cross-region disaster recovery for Windows 365 Enterprise.

Windows 365 Cloud PCs now support FIDO devices and passkeys for Microsoft Entra ID sign in on macOS and iOS.
