Windows 365: How to choose the best connection method for your team
Microsoft’s own Elina Luthra has published a post which helps you to determine the best connection method for Windows 365 Cloud PCs. Elina outlines four main connection methods for accessing Windows 365 Cloud PCs, each tailored to different user scenarios.
- Windows 365 Link is a secure, purpose-built device ideal for shared workspaces, offering fast and simple access with built-in security and management via Intune.
- Windows 365 Boot allows users to boot directly into their Cloud PC from any Windows 11 device, making it perfect for repurposed hardware and flexible deployments.
- Windows 365 Switch supports hybrid and BYOD users by enabling seamless switching between local desktops and Cloud PCs without rebooting. Lastly, the Windows App provides cross-platform access from Windows, macOS, web, or mobile, making it suitable for users who need remote access from any device.

Migrating for AVD to Windows 365 made easy
Dominiek Verham, a Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop MVP, has written a post on how to migrate workloads from Azure Virtual Desktop to Windows 365. This can be done using the newly released API by Microsoft, either by yourself if you are into automation, or by using a third party solution like Nerdio Manager.
