Otimizing RDP Connectivity for Windows 365

Microsoft has simplified and optimized RDP connectivity for Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) by consolidating key TCP and UDP traffic into just two dedicated IPv4 subnets. This reduces complexity and improves performance, ensuring a seamless user experience.

For organizations using VPNs or Secure Web Gateways (SWGs), Microsoft recommends bypassing RDP traffic from these tunnels to reduce latency and connection drops. With Zscaler’s new one-click bypass feature, configuring this optimization is now easier than ever.
